Summer Internships

Capilano/Bardel Animation Mentorship Program Announced! Bardel Entertainment has created a new opportunity for students to fast track to top level careers in animation! At the end of the first year, Cap animation students submit a portfolio/demo reel to Bardel. Three students are then awarded paid summer internships at Bardel, working directly for the Art Director, Head of Design or Head of Story. The goal is to identify and fast track students with the potential and desire to move quickly into these demanding jobs. After coming back to their 2nd year in Commercial Animation, Cap students will continue to check in with their Bardel mentors for advice, critiques, portfolio suggestions and mini-workshops. It is expected that after graduation, these students will jump past the entry level positions and start working in design, art direction and story development!
